Prince William Community Band
Formed in 1996, the Prince William Community Band is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation dedicated to providing the people of Prince William and surrounding counties the opportunity to perform, or enjoy as audience members, the exciting world of concert band music.
PWCB fosters music education in area schools while enhancing community appreciation of the unique concert band sound and literature. Quality performances are volunteered by community musicians ranging from active or retired professional musicians and educators to skilled amateurs fresh out of high school.
June 30 Family Concert with Instrument Petting Zoo
Patriotic and Americana - Harris Pavilion Summer Sundaes Concert 2:00 pm-4:30 pm
2pm -2:50 pm Instrument Petting Zoo. Children of all ages and their parents are invited to explore musical instruments from the woodwind, brass and percussion families. PWCB members will demonstrate the instruments and answer questions about them. Children and their parents may even have the opportunity to try some of the instruments.
3pm-4:30pm Patriotic and Americana concert. Followed by free ice cream courtesy of The Harris Pavilion
