(Detach above form and submit with your payment to PWCB Treasurer)

Instructions:

Returning band members pay annual dues to the band in January of each year. The current annual dues are $20. If a new member starts in the first half of the year (before July 1), the $20 dues are applicable.  If a new member starts after July 1, the dues are prorated to $10 for that year. Members less than 19 years of age are exempt from paying dues.

The above form is completed by each band member. The payment is attached and turned in to the Treasurer of the band. For the calendar year of 2008, the Treasurer is Carol Ceglar who is in the flute section. The best time to turn in your dues and the above form are on Monday nights, either before we begin rehearsal, at the break around 8:30, or after rehearsal ends.

The payment of member dues is the primary source of our funding. The income supports our ability to provide concerts throughout the year. We incur expenses to move equipment, pay venue fees, purchase music, etc. Paying your dues timely enables the band to continue operating. Thank you for your participation and support of the PWCB.

Our purpose as stated in our Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws is:

l) Perform and participate in a broad range of musical programs to extend an awareness of band music in Prince William County and the local area.

2) Provide an opportunity for members of the community to increase proficiency in the playing of musical instruments.

3) Provide an opportunity for local residents to participate in a quality community band and in various musical activities.
