Prince William Community Band Dress Code

  

At all band appearances, individuals are encouraged to wear what is most flattering or comfortable to them while still enhancing the uniform appearance of the band within the following guidelines:

 

Formal Wear (primarily winter/indoor concert settings)

When the audience looks at Band (or a photograph is taken from the audience) it looks much better if the band has a uniform color.  Individuals with white shirts and no jackets really stick out and detract from the overall appearance of the Band.

Note 1:   Hats are not allowed for formal concerts.

Note 2:  For some special concerts, we may decide to allow members to wear an accent color for accessories, such as green for St. Patrick’s Day.  This will be announced if it is allowed.
