John Cznadel was born in New York City and graduated from the Passaic Public Schools in New Jersey. He attended the Yankton College
Conservatory of Music in South Dakota where he earned a Bachelor of
Music Education degree. He received a Master of Arts degree from
Western Illinois University. John was Director of Bands of the Aldrich
Campus of Beloit High School in Wisconsin where he directed the
concert and marching bands and jazz ensemble.
In 1979, John came to Prince William County to be the Co-Band Director
at Woodbridge Middle School. When Saunders Middle School opened in
1981, John became the school's Band Director and continues to serve in
that position today.
John holds memberships in Music Educators National Conference, Virginia Music Educators Association, National
Band Association, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, and American Federation of Teachers.
